Christian provides consulting services to higher education institutions, government bodies, legislative assemblies, professional associations, and organizations navigating the governance and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, academic integrity, and emerging technology policy. His work draws on legal training, academic expertise, and direct experience advising institutions and legislative bodies at the national and international level.
Services
Working with institutions and organizations to develop, evaluate, or revise policies on AI use, academic integrity, student conduct, and related governance questions. Engagements include drafting policy language, analyzing existing frameworks for legal and ethical soundness, and advising on implementation.
Designing and delivering professional development for faculty, administrators, staff, and policymakers on AI governance, academic integrity, ethics, and the legal dimensions of emerging technology. Engagements range from single sessions to multi-module curriculum development.
Evaluating institutional procedures for legal and ethical soundness, with particular attention to due process, consistency, and equity in academic integrity and AI-related determinations. Engagements include procedural audits, policy gap analyses, and recommendations for improvement.
Serving as an expert voice in institutional decision-making processes, task forces, and working groups. Available for ongoing advisory relationships, one-time consultations, and participation in panels, committees, and policy convenings.

Christian has consulted and presented for audiences ranging from campus leadership and faculty to legislative bodies and international parliamentary assemblies. Past engagements have included higher education institutions, the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Parliamentary Confederation of the Americas, and professional associations across higher education and beyond. He has also provided invited expert testimony to the South Dakota Legislature's Study Committee on Artificial Intelligence, advising on legal definitions of AI for proposed state legislation. He serves as a subject matter expert through GLG and Round Table Group.
